From 2018, our u6.5 boys and girls will be coached together in a single group. Our head coach for this group is Conor McAleer. U6.5 football is for players in P1 and P2 who are born between 1st July 2011 and 30th June 2013. Younger players of a pre-school age are also welcome and new faces are always welcome. You can make contact to the club directly or just come to any Monday night training session.
Wee Pats take place in The Torrent Complex Sports hall for nursery – P3 boys and girls. It consists of fun games and is organised twice a year on 5 weeks prior to Christmas and Easter.
2018 Season Schedule (Boys & Girls)
U6.5 players participate in Club Training every Monday night, and Friendly Games with other clubs. Our focus is on player skill development and providing as much football and fun for each player as possible. We always end our season with a presentation day of games where parents come to watch how their child has progressed. The players will receive a medal for their efforts.

Parental Support
Since this is youngest group of players, we would ask that parents help with games and drills to support the coaches on an ad hoc basis. Just step in and ask how you can help. We also ask that a parent or guardian remain at each session to assist if any issue arises with your child. We have limited numbers of volunteer coaches for a large group of children and we are unable to escort children for toilets or address other individual needs.
Parents should be aware that the football areas of Donaghmore pitches are large with open gates to a busy car park with the Torrent Complex. Coaches are not responsible for children who leave their coaching area.
