Donaghmore GAA have supported a Christmas collection for local charities for the past 4 years with a street bucket collection on Christmas Eve. With the current restrictions we are unable to have a the street bucket collection this year. However, the needs in the community remain the same.
Our previous bucket collections have collected generous donations which have supported our charities.
This year, we are on-line with the help of JustGiving to collect donations with a “virtual bucket”. All monies collected will be shared across these local charities
- Cancer Choices – Helps local people affected by cancer.
- St. Vincent De Paul (S.V.P) – Helps out local families with a range of services who are struggling to keep their heads above water
- Torrent Buddies – Helps children with special needs providing academic and therapeutic support.
If you are a local business who donates to charity at this time of year, please consider supporting our chosen charities. A few local companies did this last year. If you would like a donation bucket for your premises please contact Brendan on 077 6838 1489 for more information.
