Sympathies & support: The club, all our players and members continue to offer our thoughts, prayers and support for those in our club and our community dealing with sickness and bereavement at this time. We would also ask that as the summer ends and autumn/winter approaches members consider the elderly in the community and offer whatever support and company they can.
Back to School: Go raibh maith agaibh to the many coaches and volunteers who helped out with camps of all descriptions over the summer holidays. A daunting but exciting time for those starting new schools whether its P1, Year 8 on Uni. Ádh mór in the year ahead to all our students.
Lotto:7-12-15-17. 5 match 3 winners get £20 each; PJ Keogh; Donna Mc Cluskey; Kim Hamilton; Anna Cooney; John Faloon. NEXT DRAW: Mon 9th Sept JACKPOT £2200. Good luck everyone.
Irish Class: The new 8 week beginners and intermediate classes will start Tuesday 17th September at 7pm for beginners and 8pm for intermediate. Sincere thanks to those who have registered already. We are really looking forward to this class and to hearing more and more Irish spoken amongst our members. No matter how much or how little irish you have this is a great wee course at a pace that suits all. Contact Seán Antón Ó Conalláin on 07709714100 or saconlon15@hotmail.co.uk to register interest. Everyone Welcome.
Supporters: It’s a massive couple of weeks for all our supporters. The club and players need as much positive support from the sidelines as the Senior men hit the Championship. The Under 16 lads are maintaining top spot in their respective leagues with both 1A and 3A playing top of the table clashes this week. Also we will need as much support from the village to run the Francie Donnelly U10 Tournament this Sun 8th Sept. Whether you can referee or umpire, cook or run about please offer your services. Always great to feel the community spirit at these events.
Comhghairdeas: to John and Laura Gallagher on their new arrival. Best wishes from all at the club.

Francie Donnelly Tournament: One of the biggest events in our calendar is the Francie Donnelly Tournament. Held this year this Sun 8th Sept at 11am (please note change in date due to Senior Championship on Sat 7th) it attracts great interest and support from a huge number of clubs. All club members and players are asked to be available this Sunday and give whatever support you can to this fantastic youth event. Please contact Collie Woods or Marty O’Neill to let them know you’ll be there.
Ladies Football:
P2-P7 Ladies: Coaching continues Mondays 6:30-7:30pm. We will be hosting a blitz on Sat 21st Sept so please save the date and offer whatever support you can.
U12 Ladies: U12 ladies training continues Sunday at 11:30am. Toughest outing of the season against Dungannon last week but great football and character all the same. Last Go Games match of the season is at home to Moy on Wed 4th at 7pm. Well done girls and mgt, great season with great prospects.
U16 Ladies: Edendork last night was a fantastic game for the neutral but unfortunately our girls came out on the wrong end 3-08 to 4-13. St Macartans (Augher) up next on Sunday at 6:30pm then Moy on Tuesday 10th at 6:30pm. This is an important run and the girls and mgt need all they support they can get.
Senior Ladies: Championship Quarter Final V Cookstown ended in defeat 1-14 to 0-12. This brings the senior ladies season to an unexpected end. The seniors have worked really hard to build into a top level team and while there is still work to be done this year was a decent step forward. Thank-you to the girls and their management for all your commitment and hard work. We can look forward to 2020 with even more confidence.
Murphys Gloves Ladies Junior Championship semi final: We are hosting the Murphys Gloves Ladies Junior Championship semi final between Coalisland and Rock at 6:45pm on Fri 6th Sept.
Guess the Score: Thank you to all who supported the Ladies Guess the score. Don’t think anyone could have predicted the draw as it turned out but watch out for young Yasmine Houlihan as a future pundit having predicted Dublin 1:17 V Kerry 1:16. Well done Yasmine with the closest score you pick up the £100. Special thanks also to Cara Kirby from our U12 team who worked so hard and was our top seller.
