Light refreshments will be served at both. Look out for the special guest.  Parents are asked to make every effort to attend.

Mary's meals will be at both events. We would love if parents could support them by bringing along any kids gear, jerseys, shorts, backpacks etc that can be reused.

Ladies Club: Our Ladies AGM is set for Wed 11th Dec at 7:30pm in the PV Hamil suite. Anyone interested in joining our ladies committee or coaching/management teams for next season please get in touch with a current coach or committee member.

Club AGM: Please look out for the Club AGM which is now Monday 16th Dec at 7pm in the PV Hamil suite. Everyone welcome to hear a review of the finer details and perhaps add some new faces and new ideas.  Also, look out for the Club Presentation night which is provisionally set for January.

Ladies minors:  believe it or not these hardy girls have started their 2020 season prep already.  Starting with a bit of fun indoor training, in the convent sports hall every Tuesday at 7pm.. Everyone eligible is welcome.

Boys youth:  Fun and skills are the aim of the winter indoor sessions, running every Thursday in the Convent Sports Hall. Throw in is 6:30pm for P3/P4’s and 7:30pm for P5/P6’s.  Good chance for budding coaches from our senior players or parents to jump in and help out. Charge is £5.

Wee Pats: The ever more popular Wee Pats continues every Friday in the Torrent Sports Hall from 6:30-7:15pm. Suitable for Nursery to P3 ages. Running for 5 weeks at only £1 per night under the stewardship of some of our senior footballers, thanks lads.

Culture: The club is hosting a Céili on the 25th Jan in the Bardic.  Great night’s dancing for young and old and of course a great chance to meet new people.  Save the date and don’t be afraid to come along and experience something new but old?

Scór na nOg: Well done and thank-you to all our Scor competitors, Ella and Tess Mc Donnell; Kila and Lauren Kirby; Ellen Mc Kernan, Ellen Billington, Sara Molloy and Aoife Mc Cormick, who competed in the County Final on Sunday.  Unfortunately it wasn’t their night but the club can be very proud that the flow of cultural talent continues to flow. Thanks also to their mentors Shauna Casey and Clare Mc Crystal.

Irish Class: Our rang gaelige has went from strength to strength.  We encourage everyone to use whatever irish they have on a daily basis. Maith sibh, ta gaelige agaibh.  Go raibh maith agaibh to all who attended, look out for a new course in early 2020. Thanks also to Seán Anton for delivering the course.

Torrent Buddies: are running a Christmas draw, tickets are available from Torrent Office.

Christmas Street Collection: Our very successful Christmas street collection is on the horizon.  Can we ask that all members try and keep an hour free to pitch in and help out. Contact Brendan Conlon on 07768 381489.

Sympathies & support: The club, all our players and members continue to offer our thoughts, prayers and support for all families in our club and our community dealing with sickness and bereavement at this time.  We would also ask that as the evenings continue to drop and winter sets in, members consider the elderly in the community and offer whatever support and company they can.
