Irish Class/Rang Gaelige: Our rang gaelige is growing from strength to strength. Look out for a new course starting on Tues 21st Jan 7pm for beginners/8pm for intermediate. Save the Date: After last years very successful St Patricks Day Breakfast the culture committee are planning an even bigger event.  Sure to be a great morning for the family so why not stay at home for a feed and a few tunes. Contact Mari Mc Donnell on 07866 718341 if you can help or offer any ideas for our St Patrick’s Day Celebrations.

Also, please look out for an appeal for support in hosting the Feile na Og in June. The club will be hosting both a boys and a girls team for this years feile which will be held locally.  This is one of the biggest events in the GAA youth calendar and for those who visited Mayo this year is not only a football tournament but an exhibition of generosity and hospitality. This will be a great opportunity to put Donaghmore on the map and will undoubtedly bring out the best the club has to offer.

Senior Presentation night is still TBC.

Culture: The club is hosting a Céili on the 25th Jan in the Bardic.  Great night’s dancing for young and old and of course a great chance to meet new people.  Save the date and don’t be afraid to come along and experience something new but old?

Sympathies & support: The club, all our players and members continue to offer our thoughts, prayers and support for all families in our club and our community dealing with sickness and bereavement at this time. Please remember as the festive season ends we should remain considerate not just the elderly but anyone who finds themselves lonely and make an extra special effort to call or visit.
