Francie Donnelly Tournament: was a huge success; weather was perfect and football was first class. Congratulations to Eglish on winning the Cup; our own lads won the Shield while Galbally went home with the plate and Kildress lifted the Bowl. A huge well done to the organising group. Organisational perfection; every detail covered with our guests left in awe. Thanks also to the army of volunteers from referees and umpires; to cooks and hospitality crew; to runners and clearer uppers. A fantastic show of clubmanship. Thanks also to Jim and Richard for taking photos and to Conor Mc Gahan and Gary Darcy for their services as official referees Well done all.
Irish Class: The new 8 week beginners and intermediate classes will start next Tuesday 17th September at 7pm for beginners and 8pm for intermediate. Sincere thanks to those who have registered already. We are really looking forward to this class and to hearing more and more Irish spoken amongst our members. No matter how much or how little irish you have this is a great wee course at a pace that suits all. Contact Seán Antón Ó Conalláin on 07709714100 or saconlon15@hotmail.co.uk to register interest. Everyone Welcome.
Supporters: Great show of support for a fantastic match in Carrickmore on Saturday. Unfortunately the lads didn’t get across the line having played brilliantly and have lead from the start. The Championship curse continues to hang over Donaghmore. In case you thought that was it, we have a massive derby match versus old rivals Dungannon on Sunday at 12pm. We need the village voices loud and proud in O’Neill Park. Also, our youth football is drawing to a close and if you haven’t already you really should get to either one of the U16 lads teams who are both into knockout territory of both their leagues; and the Championship is still to come OR get to one of the U16 ladies matches still to be played.

U12 Ladies: U12 ladies training continues Sunday at 11:30am. The season is drawing to an end for this group who I’m sure will be eager to get started on the winter programme. Well done girls and mgt, great season with great progress and potential.
U16 Ladies: Fantastic win V’s St Macartans (Augher) last Sunday. Moy game last night was their penultimate league outing which unfortunately ended in defeat. The league finale is a tough outing away to Errigal next Tues at 6:30pm.
Senior Ladies: While the football is over for the year the senior ladies are already in 2020 mode. Building on this years progress the senior ladies have layed a great foundation. But all thoughts are with the departure of Rebecca and Eoin. One of the most exciting and experienced players from a young age, Rebecca has played a massive role in the ladies club. We wish herself and husband Eoin all the best of luck on their exciting new journey. Hopefully we’ll see you both soon. Slán go fóill.
Tractor & Vintage Car Run: look out for the Torrent Valley Cross Community Tractor and Vintage Car Run and Family Fun Day this Sunday 15th. Leaving the Torrent complex at 2pm.

Sympathies & support: The club, all our players and members continue to offer our thoughts, prayers and support for those in our club and our community dealing with sickness and bereavement at this time. We would also ask that as the summer ends and autumn/winter approaches members consider the elderly in the community and offer whatever support and company they can.
