All Ireland Feile 2019:Great nights craic and great show of support for the lads at Sunday’s St Mungos show.  Extremely relatable yet hilarious reflection of the GAA. Thanks to Connor Grimes and Alan Mc Kee; the Bardic Theatre and all those who bought tickets.  If you didn’t get to the show you can still support the U14 lads as they host a coffee morning in the Torrent this Sat 22nd June @ 10:30am. Excitement is building and preparations are well under way.  Ádh mór lads.

Culture: Comhairgheas to our irish class who completed the 8 week beginners programme. Sincere thanks to Seán Antón for his tuition and to all who attended.  Feedback has been so good that there is clear appetite for another 8 week programme which is planned for sept. Now is the time to contact Seán Antón Ó Conalláin on 07709714100 or saconlon15@hotmail.co.uk to register interest. Everyone Welcome.

Supporters: Some great support at both Fundraisers and matches recently.  Thank-you to all for your great and vocal support. The management teams of both ladies and men’s seniors; and minor and U14 lads believe that the support and encouragement on the sidelines is crucial in the big games so please continue to get out there.

Also, a limited number of club flags are available at the Torrent reception priced at £10 each.  A great way for you or the kids to show you’re a Colours at any of the upcoming matches but it would be particularly nice to see plenty of club colours in Mayo!!

Training and Fixtures:

Seniors and Reserves: Result: 1-13 V Eglish 2-09; Reserves 3-07- Eglish 2-08.Good win for the Reserves and 3 important points for the seniors.  Everyone would like to wish Fergal Donaghy a speedy recovery after picking up an injury in the Reserve match. The senior match blew hot and cold with neither team fit to get away from the other.  Eglish could smell their first points of the season only to lose their focus in a physical last period that resulted in ten added mins. The introduction of Caolan Mulgrew heightened the tension and Peter Mc kenna got a last gasp goal to steal the win. Next match is the big local derby away to local rivals Dungannon Clarkes on Sunday 7th July (throw in 2pm and 3:45)

Minor lads:  The minors are focused and looking forward to their big Championship game against Moy on Thurs 27th June (at home). Good luck lads.
