Lotto:  Winning no.s 21-22-23-24. There were 4 match 3 winners. Next Draw Mon 27th July. Jackpot: £2200

Last man Standing:

We have a winner!!  Aidan Mc Garrity (c/o seller Ryan Cush) out stood everyone else to lift the £500 prize money.  Hard luck to those that made it to the final week.  Thank you as always for the great support throughout.

Registration:

It’s that time of year again. The club would ask that as many people as possible register by signing up to Club Donaghmore. You also get entered in the Club Donaghmore members monthly draw. It represents great value for money for our members and is an essential revenue for the development of the club.  Contact Mark Nugent (registrar) on 07833367485 or John Mc Kenna (Club Donaghmore Rep) 07515288224.

Alternatively, you can register and pay via club website.

Covid-19 Update: The onus has very much been put on members during the return to play. We continue to seek the co-operation and patience of our members. Good news is that parents can now stay at matches and whilst the seniors have 3 away games in a row we hope changes will be made in time for a return to Fr Eamon Devlin Park.

REMINDER: All players and members must keep up to date with their health questionnaire confirmation before every training.  Wash your hands as often as possible, help to sanitise all equipment, adhere to club recommended procedures.  Please consider others.

Return to play: REMINDER: ALL adult players and members MUST:

1. Achieve a certificate by completing this e-learning module. U18 players/members will be covered by their parents cert but anyone entering club grounds or activities must have completed the cert.  It’s simple reading and will take around 20mins. https://learning.gaa.ie/covid19learning. Once completed you can screen shot your certificate and send it to your team covid supervisor via whatsapp.

2. All members will be asked to complete a Health Questionnaire (now available on gaa.ie; click return to play). Some issues have been reported so be patient and be prepared to try and complete a couple of times. Responsibility is with the individual or parent to notify the respective team covid supervisor should their health condition change.http://returntoplay.gaa.ie/

The onus in the successful and safe return to play is very much with our members.  A responsible and diligent approach to how we continue to contain the covid-19 virus will ensure safety and good health for all and will allow the path to some kind of normality to continue.

Cultúre agus Gaeilge.

Special mention to Mari Mc Donnell and Clare Mc Crystal for her fantastic promotion of Scór disciplines recently.  A huge response through facebook suggesting the music/trad/scór family is well and thriving in the village.  Thanks also to all who sent in clips; your talent is unbelievable and appreciated.  Maith sibh.

Unfortunately, that brings our series of scór acts to an end for now but please subscribe to our youtube channel where we hope to upload all for the future.  Click on this link https://www.youtube.com/feed/my_videos

Sean Anton has been social shielding through the covid epidemic but with some light at the end of the tunnel a class is being planned for sept along side the possibility of a zoom class.  Please contact  Seán Antón Ó Conalláin on 07709714100 or saconlon15@hotmail.co.uk to register your interest.

Health and Well Being: We can be very proud of how the club was represented in the community efforts and we can now hopefully look forward to the Health and well being committee delivering the self care plans they had set out previous to the lock down. We will have an update after next committee meeting in early August.

Sympathies & support:

We continue to offer our thoughts, prayers and support for all families in our club and our community dealing with sickness and bereavement at this time.
