Club Donaghmore draw for March: Colin Murtagh wins £150 and pauric Gallagher wins £50

Culture: Last chance for anyone looking to take up our beginners Irish class. Please contact Seán Antón Ó Conalláin on 07709714100 or saconlon15@hotmail.co.uk  1 hour Classes are due to start Wed May 1st (time and venue TBC) and run for 8 weeks at £20 per person.

Training and Fixtures:

U6.5’s: Continues every Monday 6:30-7:30pm

U8/U10 Boys: Continues every Monday 6:30-7:30pm.

U10 lads: Training continues Mondays 6-7pm.

U14 lads: Training continues Thursday 6:30-7:30. Feile: Well done to lads and mgt on qualifying for the Feile County finals on Friday 10th May. (Details TBC). League Rd 7: V Dungannon is (today) Wed 24th April. Then Rd8 is away to Cookstown on Sat 27th at 12pm.  Check social media for confirmation of throw-in.  

Minor Lads: A friendly V Ballinderry has been arranged for (today)Wed 24th April at 7pm (home). Training continues Sunday 28th then next league game is home v Coalisland on Wed 1st May. Check social media for confirmation of throw-in.  

Seniors and Reserves: Result:Reserves 0-13 to Trilick 2-16; Seniors 1-13  V Trillick 1-13. Next league game: is  this Fri 26th  home v Coalisland – throw-in 7:15. Reserves play Sunday 28th with 2:15 throw-in.  Also all patrons and visitors are asked to avoid parking in the Lismore area.

Important: Instead of charging admission to the senior match this week the club is asking that all patrons attending give a donation towards the Cush family’s ‘Stairway to Heaven’ Fundraiser in memory of club members Sean, Marie and Barry Cush who we lost and remember fondly.

Stairway to Heaven Walk Saturday 27th April:: The Cush family would like to thank everyone for their support and donations to date,  it is greatly appreciated. Final preparations are being put in place and all walkers must be confirmed this week.  Please contact via the Stairway to Heaven Facebook page.

P2-P7 Ladies: Continues Monday’s 6:30-7:30pm.

U14 Ladies: Training continues Tues 5:30-6:30pm on the convent pitch and Sat 2:15-3:30.

Minor Ladies:  Well done to all the girls on what was a respectable and progressive first year in grade 1. Training continues Thurs 7:30-8:30 with seniors and Sat (tbc).  Then the Championship v Killeeshil on Mon 29th April (home), throw in 7pm.

Senior Ladies:Training continues Mon and Thurs 7.30pm-8.30pm.  New format 9/11 aside league continues Fri 3rd May V Loughmacrory (away).

Belfast City Marathon:  Ladies Minor Coach and Marathon supremo Pete Conlon is taking on the Belfast City Marathon on Sunday 5th of May. The ladies youth teams are helping Pete raise sponsorship which will go towards both the ladies football teams and Torrent Buddies. Please look out for one of the girls or their coaches and give as generously as you can to support Pete in this huge effort.

IN THE STAND:

The club encourages and welcomes everyone to keep an eye on games coming up and try and get along to watch our youth matches whether you have somebody playing or not.  We have an exceptional crop of youth players and teams coming through, both girls and boys. Check out the fixtures above and whether you are new to the village, an ex-player, a family friend or just a football fan there’s plenty of talent and competitive action coming up. Come along and cheer the village youth along and be part of the roller coaster that is our GAA season.

Tyrone Summer camp: We will be hosting the Tyrone summer camp on 22nd-25th July. Camp is open to boys and girls aged 5 to 14yrs.
