All Ireland Feile 2019: Fantastic show of support at U14’s coffee morning on Saturday. Many thanks to the parents and blue apron ‘LADIES’ who helped prepare and organise. Rumour has it a couple of capable mums showed signs of earning a ‘blue apron’ of their own!! A brilliant morning for a coffee and a catch up for all. Sincere thanks to the parents, club and community for the much appreciated support. Thanks again to Connor Grimes and Alan Mc Kee; the Bardic Theatre and all those who helped with the St Mungos night also. The fundraising done, preparations complete the focus turns now to the football. Excitement is building and this weekend all roads lead to Mayo. Ádh mór lads.
U14 lads: COUNTY CHAMPIONS 2019!! Hungry, Ambitious, Skillful, Intelligent, Industrious, Physical. The lads won the County Championship in emphatic style last night and left supporters, opposition and neutrals in awe. Congratulations to every member of the team, a great achievement. Whilst a lot of us are thinking about our trip to Mayo the U14 lads and management remain grounded and focused. Good luck in Mayo lads and management. Enjoy the journey and experience.. Unbelievably when they get back they have the Grade 1 League Final V Loughmacrory on Thurs 4th July (venue tbc). Get your colours on and support this exceptional team. Keep an eye on social media for build up and logistical details of the feile. Supporters: Fantastic support from the club members and community at both Fundraisers and matches recently. Thank-you to all for your great and vocal support. Please continue to get out there with your club colours. Thank-you to the many supporters travelling to Mayo for the Feile.
Also, a limited number of club flags are available at the Torrent reception priced at £10 each. A great way for you or the kids to show they’re Colours at any of the upcoming matches but it would be particularly nice to see plenty of club colours in Mayo!!
Training and Fixtures:
Seniors and Reserves: Next match is the big local derby away to local rivals Dungannon Clarkes on Sunday 7th July (throw in 2pm and 3:45) Subject to change.
Minor lads: Championship prelim V Moy. Our lads bowed out of the Championship and therefore brought their season to an end with defeat to Moy. Well done lads and mgt a good season all the same.
U16 lads: The U16 Og Sport team beat Clarkes, Clonoe and Errigal to qualify for the semi final stage on Friday July 5th (details tbc). Good luck to the U16 lads and their management.
U12.5 lads: Training continues Mon 6:15 – 7:30pm and Wed 6:15 – 7:30pm.
U10.5 lads: Training continues Mondays 6:30-7:30pm.
U8 lads: Training continues every Monday 6:30-7:30pm.
U6.5’s: Continues every Monday 6:30-7:30pm
P2-P7 Ladies: Training continues Monday’s 6:30-7:30pm.
U12 Ladies: U12 ladies training continues Sunday at 11:30am. All new members/players welcome, just come along with your boots.
U16 Ladies: Our annual Corn na Nóg tournament for U14 and U16 girls was run on Sun 23rd June. great fun in the sun with a BBQ to relax after. Thanks to Stevie, Mari and Eamon for organising; thanks to David and Darren for refereeing; thanks to Fergal for feeding everybody; Rebecca for presenting the awards and finally all the U14/16 girls for joining in. Training begins on wed 5:30-6:30. Good luck in the season ahead girls.
Senior Ladies: The Championship prelim rd V Drumragh never looked in doubt. A good win for the girls making it the first championship win at the top level. Cookstown up next in the Championship (details tbc). Drumragh again tonight Wed 26th at home in the League (throw in 7:30pm). Good luck ladies. Thank you to the large crowd of supporters in Killyclogher at the weekend. Lets see the same again this evening in Fr Eamon Devlin Park.
Best Wishes: to Michaela and Emma who are off on an extended football holiday to Boston. Two of our most experienced senior players Emma in particular has been a fantastic servant to the ladies club putting her football commitment before all else. So enjoy your trip girls from all at the club and we’ll see you soon.

Culture: Comhairgheas to our irish class who completed the 8 week beginners programme. Sincere thanks to Seán Antón for his tuition and to all who attended. Feedback has been so good that there is clear appetite for another 8 week programme which is planned for sept.
