Culture: Our Irish Language for beginners continues every Wed at 7pm.  Feedback from week 1 was fantastic. “Easily followed and well structured” and “patient, basic and informative” was a couple of the comments. Thanks to Seán Antón for delivering the class. Belfast City Marathon: Comhghairdeas to Pete Conlon on completing the Belfast City Marathon.  Great commitment and a great example to our ladies youth players. Thank you to all those who sponsored Pete.


Training and Fixtures:

U6.5’s: Continues every Monday 6:30-7:30pm

U8/U10 Boys: Continues every Monday 6:30-7:30pm.

U10 lads: Training continues Mondays 6-7pm.

U14 lads: Training continues Thursday 6:30-7:30. Result: 7-15 to Ardboe 2-06.  Feile County finals on Friday 10th May in Galbally. Semi final v Carrickmore at 6:45pm.

Minor Lads: Result: 3-12 v Coalisland 1-07.  Next League game v Pomeroy on Monday 13th then away to Clonoe on Friday 17th at 7;15pm. Check social media for confirmation of throw-in.  

Seniors and Reserves: Break in Senior and Reserve action with next league game away to Tattyreagh on Sunday 19th May.

P2-P7 Ladies: Continues Monday’s 6:30-7:30pm.

U14 Ladies: Training continues Tues 5:30-6:30pm on the convent pitch then Thurs 9th home to Edendork in the league at 7:30pm. Then training again Sat 2:15-3:30.

Minor Ladies:  Training Sat at 10am; Mon with seniors at 7:30pm and Wed at 7pm in preparation for Championship semi-final has been re-fixed for Friday 17th May, home V Clonoe.

Senior Ladies:Our senior ladies return to Division 1 starts on Wed 8th away to Sperrin Og (Greencastle) throw-in 7pm. Training continues Mon and Thurs 7.30pm-8.30pm.

IN THE STAND: The club encourages and welcomes everyone to keep an eye on games coming up and try and get along to watch our youth matches whether you have somebody playing or not.  We have an exceptional crop of youth players and teams coming through, both girls and boys. Check out the fixtures above and whether you are new to the village, an ex-player, a family friend or just a football fan there’s plenty of talent and competitive action coming up. Come along and cheer the village youth along and be part of the roller coaster that is our GAA season.
