Good luck: also to Glasgow Gaels who compete in the Scottish senior Championship final this Sat 5th against Dunedin Connollys.  We say this because former youth player Connor Woods now plies his trade there. Ádh mór folks from everyone in Donaghmore.

Supporters: Errigal always travel in numbers so it’s important we match their support and cheer our lads on in what is sure to be a good game. Sat 2pm in Fr Eamon Devlin Park.  Ádh mór lads. Also the U16 lads have got a really intense period with the league semi final and championship semi final within 4 days while the 3A panel await there league semi final fixture.  Great job by all the U16 lads and good luck from everyone in the club.

Training and Fixtures:

Seniors and.Reserves: Seniors are back in action this Sat 5th Oct at home to Errigal 2pm. (No Reserve match subject to confirmation).  Any available members are asked to volunteer for marshalling and umpire duties for both matches.  Check TyroneGaa link for confirmation of fixtures.

U16 lads: 3A bounced back from their championship disappointment with an emphatic display in their league qtr final.  Well done and good luck in the semi final lads. 1A have found themselves fixed with two huge matches in four days, starting with the League Quarter Final V Killyclogher on this Sat 5th Oct at 11:30am at home; then on Tues 8th Oct at 7:30pm they are away to Omagh in the Championship Quarter Final.  Again good luck to the lads and their mgt. Coaching continues Sundays at 10:30am. Keep an eye on social media for confirmation of fixtures and results.

U12.5 lads: their season too is coming to a close.  Great year lads, some fantastic performances and a couple of lovely trophies.  Maith thú lads and mgt.  U13 lads: start their campaign this Sunday 6th at home to Carrickmore, 11:30 throw in.  Good luck lads.

U6 – U10 lads: This lot could play football forever and we hope they do.  But a break is needed, especially for all the parents and coaches who help out.  Sincere thanks again to the army of coaches and parents it takes to contain the energy of these age groups.  We look forward now to our annual prize giving and getting back at next season with our winter programme and wee pats. Go raibh mile maith agaibh.

Ladies Football:

P2-P7 Ladies: Welcome break for a month or so then we’ll be thinking of our annual presentation night and plans for next year so stay tuned. Again please keep the girls active with a football at their feet even if it is in the house.

U12 Ladies: Apologies for giving the impression this squad were finished for the season.  They have won through to the next stage of the County Knockout blitz which should offer a great finale to the season.  Well done again girls and mgt.

U16 Ladies: these guys and their mgt are used to the season lasting longer so it was fantastic to see them finish off the season with a great day out as a team.  A really positive vibe all round as the girls headed to the Ulster Development blitz in Magherafelt before getting their Sunday Dinner in the Gables. Fantastic gesture by the mgt and it was well received with many thanks from the girls and their parents.  Roll on the winter programme and 2020.

Senior Ladies: 2020 season is already the focus.  Look out for winter training plans soon.

Tyrone fixtures link: You can check all the club fixtures and results using the tyronegaa website on this link.  http://tyronegaa.ie/fixtures-results/

Sympathies & support: The club, all our players and members continue to offer our thoughts, prayers and support for those in our club and our community dealing with sickness and bereavement at this time.  We would also ask that as the summer ends and autumn/winter approaches members consider the elderly in the community and offer whatever support and company they can.
