Youth presentation night: Thanks to everyone who helped organise both our youth presentation nights. Special mention to Eamon, Mari, Colly and Marty and all those representative coaches who spoke so proudly of their teams.  Two great evenings of celebrating our youth and their footballing success stories. Great teams, great friends and great memories. Thanks also to Quinns Corner and Torrent complex for hosting and Mattie Donnelly for helping with presentations.  The club and the village have a bright future thanks to all these great kids and their parents. Domhnach mór abú.

Comghgairdeas agus maith thú: the club is excited to be in the closing stages of appointing a new management team.  We are thankful for the careful consideration and experience of Darren T, Darren C, Joe and Raymond who have surpassed all expectations.  We look forward to officially announcing all the details over the coming weeks when due process is complete.👏

Ladies Club: Our Ladies AGM is set for Wed 11th Dec at 7:30pm in the PV Hamil suite. Anyone interested in joining our ladies committee or coaching/management teams for next season please get in touch with a current coach or committee member.💬

Club AGM: Please look out for the  Men’s Club AGM which is now Monday 16th Dec at 7pm in the PV Hamil suite. Everyone welcome to hear a review of the finer details and perhaps add some new faces and new ideas.  Also, look out for the Club Presentation night which is provisionally set for January. 💬

Ladies minors: These football mad girls have started their 2020 season prep with some top notch support. Stevie Rice and Micky Deery have very kindly stepped in to help with pre-season  Yoga and fitness training. This lot mean business. Thanks to Micky and Stevie and good luck to Eamon and his management team. ⚽

Boys youth:  Our winter programme for the youth ends this week.  Again thanks to all those who helped out with coaching.  We are very lucky to have so many willing and able volunteers.  Enjoy the Christmas break folks. Can’t wait to see you all in 2020.🏆

Wee Pats: 5 weeks up already.  Last night for the ‘Wee Pats’ is this Friday 6th of Dec.  Welcome break for Christmas for all our football mad youngsters.  Thanks to all those parents and others who helped contain the energy and make it into fun football for both the boys and girls.  🏆

Culture: The club is hosting a Céili on the 25th Jan in the Bardic.  Great night’s dancing for young and old and of course a great chance to meet new people.  Save the date and don’t be afraid to come along and experience something new but old? 🎻

Scór na nOg:  Sincere thanks to our Scór mentors Shauna Casey and Clare Mc Crystal. Another great year for our youth.  The club wants to step up our support and participation in our cultural competitions so we would encourage everyone to look up the scór tyrone facebook page and if you have any interest start to thinking about joining in for next year.🎼

Irish Class: Our rang gaelige has went from strength to strength.  We encourage everyone to use whatever irish they have on a daily basis. Maith sibh, ta gaelige agaibh.  Go raibh maith agaibh to all who attended, look out for a new course in early 2020. Thanks also to Seán Anton for delivering the course.

Torrent Buddies: are running a Christmas draw, tickets are available from Torrent Office.

Christmas Street Collection: Our very successful Christmas street collection is confirmed for Christmas eve.  Can we ask that all members try and keep an hour free to pitch in and help out. Contact Brendan Conlon on 07768 381489.🎅

Connecting Generations: St Joseph’s are running an excellent community initiative called ‘Connecting Generations’.  The Pupils and Staff are launching it by hosting an afternoon of Dinner, music and chat for anyone over 65 in the community. The Dinner will be hosted in the school on Dec 15th at 12:30pm.  Please contact Martina on 028 8776 1227 or via email mogara395@c2kni.net.🌲👥🌲

Sympathies & support: The club, all our players and members continue to offer our thoughts, prayers and support for all families in our club and our community dealing with sickness and bereavement at this time.  A wee reminder that as the festive season approaches we consider not just the elderly but anyone who finds themselves lonely and make an extra special effort to call or visit. 🌲 💬👥💬🌲
