Please get your tickets early for the very famous and funny St Mungos, Luganulk Umpire strikes back at the Bardic Theatre on Sunday 16th June at 7:30pm, tickets available at www.bardictheatre.com and Stewarts music store. Great nights craic – tickets are already selling fast.
Then: the U14 lads will also be hosting a coffee morning in the Torrent on Sat 22nd June. The club would love to see as much support in Knockmore as possible. All Ireland Hurling Feile 2019: Best of luck to the club players and their U14 team mates at Eoghan Ruadh who are off to Charleville, Co Cork this weekend for the All Ireland Hurling Feile. Great achievement and great experience for our lads and their families.
Culture: Our Irish Language for beginners continues every Wed at 7pm. The participants are progressing well and at a pace to suit all. Feedback is positive and the word is that the appetite is already there for another course later in the year. Maith thú folks.
Training and Fixtures:
Seniors and Reserves: Good result for the Reserves beating Moy 2-12 to 1-05 while Seniors managed a draw 1-11 to Moy 1-11. Next league game is away to Eglish Sunday 16th June. Throw-in 2:15 and 3:45pm.
Minor lads: The minors are coming good at the right time. A late run of good results has earned them a Quarter final away to Trillick this Fri 7th June at 7:30pm. Good luck lads.
U14 lads:The season is building very nicely for our U14 lads. Championship Quarter final yesterday evening proved to be another dominant encounter away to Killyclogher with our lads winning 10-20 to 3-11. After Trillick conceded in the league they now have a league semi final to look forward to against Dungannon next Wed 12th June. (Neutral venue and times tbc). Extremely busy week given some of the lads are at the All Ireland Hurling Feile this weekend too. Please get out and show as much support as possible for these lads as they take on the business end of the season. Keep an eye on social media for results and fixtures.
U12.5 lads: Great day out at the ever more prestigious Martin Mc Caughey tournament in Galbally. The lads were beaten by finalists Dromore in the Cup competition. Compliments to Galbally on a fantastic tournament and spread. Training continues Mon 6:15 – 7:30pm and Wed 6:15 – 7:30pm.
U10.5 lads: Went to Dungannon and had a great day at the Clarke’s Festival of Football. Training continues Mondays 6:30-7:30pm.
U8 lads: Tasted success lifting the Patrick Devlin Memorial Shield in Ardboe. Well done lads. The lads and mgt were also complimented by a parent from Kildress for their behaviour and sportsmanship. Well done to all representing the club so well. Training continues Continues every Monday 6:30-7:30pm.
U6.5’s: Continues every Monday 6:30-7:30pm
P2-P7 Ladies: Great day out and great support at the Blitz in Aghaloo. Well done to all our girls and management. Training continues Monday’s 6:30-7:30pm.
U12 Ladies: U12 ladies training continues Sunday at 11:30am. All new members/players welcome, just come along with your boots.
U14 Ladies: With the league wrapped up with that great win over Ardboe the U14 girls now face Carrickmore this thursday 6th at 8pm in the Championship (away). Please get out and show your support for this brilliant group.
Senior Ladies: After the fantastic (3 out of 3) start to the season the Senior ladies stumbled against a typically stubborn and physical Carrickmore side. Next up is another tough test against top of table Errigal Ciaran (time and date tbc). Don’t bet against our girls bouncing back. Good luck ladies.

Supporters: We are having an exceptional season all round so far. The U14 lads and minor lads are in to the business end of the season with both qualifying for knockout stages of their leagues and high hopes in the Championship. Please get out and support both teams and be part of cheering them along from the stand. The senior ladies and senior men have tough and important games coming up.

Sympathies: The club continues to offer our thoughts and prayers to those in the community dealing with sickness and bereavement. Our sincere sympathies are extended to Eugene Mc Kenna and family on the passing of his mother recently.
