We are in the fortunate position that Donaghmore has three potential lifesaving Defibrillators in the local area.
(A defibrillator is a device that gives a high energy electric shock to the heart to someone who is in cardiac arrest).
To make these devices more accessible to the people of Donaghmore and the surrounding areas a number of community groups have come together to raise funds for two defibrillator cabinets in Donaghmore. These cabinets will be located in prominent public locations. They are easily identifiable, protect the defibrillators against the elements and can be accessed by anyone.
To help raise funds for this essential equipment there will be a donation box available in both The Torrent Complex and Torrent Credit Union from * * Monday 30th July to Monday 06th August * *
Donations of ANY amounts are welcome from local businesses and the community.
