An t-am sin den bhliain arís! (that time of the year again) Who does not like Nollaig (Christmas)?
The kids are looking forward to Daidí na Nollag (Santa) coming and the adults are looking forward to saoire na Nollag (Christmas holidays). Cé nach bhfuil (even though) normal life as we knew it pre-lockdown has not quite returned go fóill (yet) we are dóchasach (hopeful) that we will have the best Christmas we can le rudaí mar atá siad (with things as they are).
Cuimhnígí (remember) that the daoine (people) around the crann Nollag (Christmas tree) are more important than the bronntanais (presents) underneath it. Christmas is a time for am teaghlaigh (family time), craic agus cuideachta (fun and company) and a time to sos a ghlacadh (take a break).
May all reading this have a Nollaig mhór mhaith (a great Christmas) and go n-éirí libh (all the best) in 2022.
